Stop 1: Cambodia's Phnom Penh, Wat Phnom Temple, Wat Phnom is a Buddhist temple. It was constructed in 1372 and is 27 meters above sea level. It is the city's tallest religious building.
Wat Phnom is a Buddhist temple and pagoda that represents the name of Phnom Penh and is a significant historical location in the development of Khmer national identity. Wat Phnom is 46 meters tall in total. The pagoda is called after Lady Penh from the tale of the finding of the five statues, one of Vishnu and four of Buddha.

Stop 2: Roluos Village, Sangkat Cheung Aek, Choeung Ek Genocidal Center, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
A former orchard and a mass burial for Khmer Rouge victims who died between 1975 and 1979 are located at Choeung Ek, which is located about 17 kilometers south of
Phnom Penh in Cambodia. The Killing Fields, where the Khmer Rouge regime killed over a million people between 1975 and 1979, are most known for this location.

The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum is a memorial to the Cambodian genocide located in Phnom Penh, the country's capital. The location is a former secondary school that the Khmer Rouge dictatorship operated as Security Prison 21 from its ascent to power in 1975 until its overthrow in 1979.
Stop 4: Local Market Cambodia's Central Market in Phnom Phen , The Central Market is a sizable market that was built in 1937 and is shaped like a dome with four arms that spread out into long passageways filled with many merchandise stalls. (Duration: 1 hour)

We will set off from the centre of Phnom Penh and begin our tour to Takeo where we will visit Phnom Tamao, The Wildlife Alliance, Chisor Mountain and Tonle Bati Lake.
After an exciting ride by taxi through the countryside surrounding Phnom Penh we arrive at Phnom Tamao, which is home to The Wildlife Alliance. This nonprofit animal sanctuary spans 6000 acres surrounding a tree covered mountain. Here you will learn about important measures that have been taken to preserve wildlife across the Cardamom Mountains and beyond. You will have a chance to see tigers, monkeys, elephants, leopards, wild boar, deer, snakes, and more to discover. You will have the opportunity to feed fruit to the animals of your choice. We will spend approximately 4 hours on this visit.
We then continue our journey to Tonle Bati where we will enjoy a popular local lunch next to a beautiful lake. You can choose from grilled meats, frogs and fish, papaya salad, and pickled vegetables. You are recommended to try our popular sweet or alcoholic palm juice, or sugar cane juice. Relax lakeside in a traditional straw hut before continuing to our next destination. We will spend approximately 1.5 hours here.

3/ Cambodian and Chinese influence 'Mee Katang' means Cantonese noodles, but is pronounced 'mee Kontang' in Khmer. These charred noodles are easy to make and super versatile. Stir-fried with marinated pork, crunchy carrots and Chinese broccoli, and scrambled eggs.

Khao Soi ( Hand cut rice or egg noodles, coconut milk, curry soup base)
Chinese Muslim traders from Yunnan, China, are where the khao soi begins. In the 19th and 20th centuries, they traveled to Southeast Asia, going through Burma (now Myanmar) and Laos before landing in northern Thailand, where the three nations are connected by the Golden Triangle commerce route.
2. Stop Number Two
A well-known Laos dish called Mok Pa is a steamed fish packet prepared with white fish roosted banana leaf, whole sticky rice grains, herbs and sauces.
3. Stop Number three
"Khao Poon"
Ground beef, fish sauce, padaek, garlic, chillies, rice vermicelli noodles, and mint leaves are all ingredients in this classic Lao soup. Khao poon, also referred to as Lao laksa, is a meal that is frequently served during Lao weddings.
In addition to Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia, this soup is popular across Southeast Asia.

Khai Phaen Freshly cleaned and pounded kai has a stunning neon green look and is also referred to as Mekong weed or rock river weed.
The city of Luang Prabang is where kaipen is primarily consumed and made in northern Laos. Kai, a type of green alga, is harvested from the riverbed during the dry winter months (November to April), when the river level is at its lowest.
